The Social Forum is a 'unique space for interactive dialogue between the United Nations human rights machinery, Member States and interested stakeholders to discuss issues linked with the national and international environment needed for the promotion of the enjoyment of all human rights for all'. Stakeholders include civil society, grass-roots organisations, and intergovernmental organisations.


The Social Forum meets once a year for three days. For more information, see the OHCHR website.
